What kind of Sponsored Posts do we consider at World Wide Adventurers?

Thanks for visiting this page, we are on the look out for some cool travel companies to submit sponsored adventurous posts on our site.

The types of posts we like are about hiking, camping, RVing, adventure trips, with a slant on cultural and sustainable travel. Companies that provide these services and get to the heart of travel, share the local cultures and are planet aware.  You get the picture? Your company needs to have a service or product related in some way to the above.

The article should be provided by you, however we can write bespoke articles containing sponsored links providing we have personally visited the destination. It will be disclosed at the end of the article that this is a sponsored post.

What are our Terms, Requirements and Guidelines?

Post Content
Please – Original content only, not a copy of something that has been published elsewhere online. It should be about destinations, experiences and things to do, not travel information or news. Often with a theme e.g. secret places, off the beaten track, markets, historic sites. Personal in tone, and demonstrating personal knowledge of the destination without being generic.

We expect that your articles are easy to read, and contain good grammar and punctuation.

The article should not be specifically about the client services but may be on the theme of the type of holidays or travel services they offer.

The sponsored post may contain up to 3 relevant links to the sponsor’s website. Please provide URL and anchor text.

The article may incorporate a few lines at the end of the article introducing the sponsor’s services e.g. (This sponsored post is from X company, the specialists in X holidays in X countries.)

Post Format

• Posts should be 400-600 words
• We prefer it to be written and formatted in word press and a copy of the html code sent to us.  Otherwise in a plain text pad format.
• Use h1 tags for major headings and h2 for sub headings
• Include a company bio with your article with one link to your website.
• Bold key phrases within the post; it is best that this is no more than 4-5 words    and no more than once in a sentence or paragraph.
• Paragraphs should be no bigger than 3 sentences.

Post Images

• Photos must be 556x370px in jpeg format.  
• Do not include your images in a word document.
• Please caption your images.
• You must have permission to use the photos you submit

What you will receive in return?

• Linking – You can put 3 relevant links in your article and  1 link in your bio      which is placed at the end of your article
• promotion of the post through our social networks & RSS Feed

After Publishing

We expect you to:

Share the post through twitter and on your Facebook fan page.

• Stumble your post- It is IMPORTANT when you do this that you REVIEW the post as well. It will be seen by so many more people if you do.
• Reply to all the comments. This puts you out there as an authority figure and someone who values what the community members have to say.
• Your post will stay on our blog as long as the sit exists
